Baby brain!!

Got babies on the brain now, 6 weeks to go and counting until my number 3 pops out :) I love making balloons for baby parties, so here's a few christening pictures and baby balloons I've done recently.

Really cool turquoise theme kids party!

I was transported back to Sesame Street and to my childhood when I saw these ideas for a cookie monster party on http://www.hostessblog.com/ Turquoise conjurs up different images for different people, and for somebody somewhere turquoise obviously equates to The Cookie Monster!! All it needs is some turquoise and chocolate brown polka dot balloons!

New Balloons on the Market

Hot new colour balloon from Qualatex - Wild berry. Comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. Looks fabulous with black (of course!), but also for the spring / summer, something a bit brighter and different like orange , lime green or turquoise with it would look gorgeous. Lots of polka dot balloons around this spring too, some new gorgeous colours such as lime green, chocolate brown, robins egg blue , orange and wild berry.

Wonderland Baby Shower

I did a couple of balloon displays for a baby shower at the weekend, it looked fabulous! They had set it all out like the mad hatters tea party, complete with gingham table cloth, teacups, hats, fake flowers, and fake grass on the floor. Cute little baby touches were baby bottles with 'drink me' labels, and a washing line with baby clothes hanging up.

The Manchester Wedding Show

Had a great time today meeting new and old colleagues in the wedding biz, and also lots of lovely brides and grooms to be. Malmaison is a stunning boutique hotel opp Picc Station in Manchester, the decor is divine, all black and red, very moulin rouge! Ideal for small weddings, but I think it would be great for an engagement or anniversary party too. Anyway the website is http://www.malmaison.com/
